All Formula 1 circuits have also been updated with DRS zones to support the Ferrari SF-25.

Daily Racing Portal (acevo.gg)

With the 0.4 release, KUNOS Simulazioni introduces acevo.gg, the Daily Racing Portal, allowing players to join scheduled online races every day, with automatic splits based on their GridRating, placing drivers of similar skill levels together.

Players can:

•Browse daily races from the online portal.

•Register without needing to launch the game.

•Automatically join the correct server when the event starts.

•Access their GridRating, which carries over from SimGrid for existing drivers.

This first step brings competitive, structured online racing to Assetto Corsa EVO and will expand with league features, advanced statistics and deeper in-game integration over time.

Improvements and Physics Upgrade

Performance, gameplay and graphics have all been refined further for the 0.4 release, with a significant evolution of the physics model focusing on tyres, drivetrain, hybrid systems and force feedback.

Physics Update Info

•New tyre damping method delivers higher compliance and grip consistency, improving confidence across all cars.

•Refined tyre inertia and slip ratio ensure more natural traction behaviour under braking and acceleration.

•New grip model balances higher baseline adhesion with progressive combined-slip limits, rewarding precision and car control.

•Advanced tyre thermal and wear behaviour simulates temperature, degradation and compound lifecycles in greater detail.

•Unified hybrid and KERS/ERS systems for authentic power deployment and recovery logic.

•Enhanced drivetrain wobble model introduces mechanical elasticity and nonlinear stiffness for richer force feedback.

•Electronic brake bias, turbo, damper and differential controls are now fully adjustable from the cockpit.

•Improved DCT and solid axle behaviour, plus realistic rolling resistance for truer top speeds.

Major Audio Improvements

The audio system receives extensive upgrades to enhance engine clarity, transmission feel, turbo behaviour and environmental detail.

•Turbo pitch linked to boost and RPM.

•Reworked transmission sound sets.

•More detailed VTEC crossover cues.

•Completely rebuilt drivetrain wobble model.

•Improved backfires and turbo hiss.

•New scraping and raindrop ambience.

•Updated sound samples for multiple vehicles.

These additions result in a more immersive and mechanical soundscape across all cars.

Graphics – Main Improvements

Update 0.4 brings another step forward in visual fidelity, with improvements focused on materials, optimization and cockpit clarity.

•Revised car paint materials throughout.

•Better post-processing and motion rendering.

•Reduced VRAM usage and improved memory efficiency.

•Fixes for dashboard displays and material issues.

•Visual updates for MX 5 Cup ND1 and ND2 variants, Lamborghini Huracán ST EVO2, Porsche GT4 Clubsport MR.

•Updated instrument clusters on various models.

Players will especially notice smoother performance in crowded scenes, such as online and multi-car races.

UI – New Additions and Enhancements

The user interface continues to evolve with improvements aimed at clarity, race awareness and electronic system management.

•Expanded HUD notifications.

•Updated server list with clearer player and server counts.

•Reworked client-side leaderboard.

•Track maps added to HUD and pitlane screens.

•Multiplayer chat widget introduced.

•MFD expanded to support new vehicle electronics.

•Improved speedometer, gear and tyre widgets.

•Odometers added for owned vehicles.

These updates continue the refinement of the UI, improving race usability for all driver types.

About Assetto Corsa EVO

Assetto Corsa EVO raises the bar of realism that has made the franchise one of the most popular driving simulations of the last decade even higher.

As with its predecessor, Assetto Corsa EVO will include cars from different classes spanning across years of motoring history. From road cars, classics, hypercars, and race cars. The most iconic representation of the automotive and motorsport world. Each vehicle is reproduced through Kunos in-house physics and graphic engine simulating mechanical, electronic, and aerodynamic performance, combined with the fidelity of the circuits created using Laserscan technology.

Throughout Early Access, you will experience a continuously expanding range of vehicles, tracks, and game modes, evolving towards our full 1.0 launch.

With the launch of a new KUNOS Simulazioni proprietary, high-performance photorealistic engine, VR and triple screen support have become first-class features and the new mathematical model meticulously simulates asphalt performance in different dynamic weather conditions that guarantees an authentic and realistic experience which will redefine the standards that have made Assetto Corsa globally renowned.
