Spirit of the Island: New Story Update!

The announcement from 1M Bits Horde and Meta Publishing reveals the exciting launch of the New Story Update for "Spirit of the Island." To mark the occasion, the base game will be offered at a 65% discount, and the Adventureland DLC at a 20% discount until February 20th. This promotion started already.

The New Story mode introduces a completely reworked quest system, dialogues, and the main storyline for both single-player and co-op modes, providing around 25 hours of brand new gameplay at no additional cost. This update is a response to community feedback, aiming to enhance the game experience from the ground up. Players are encouraged to explore the new content first for a complete experience, though the original storyline, "Children of the Ocean," remains accessible.

Additionally, the update includes the release of steam trading cards, emojis, backgrounds, and other items for player profiles. Achievement issues have been resolved, ensuring players can now achieve 100% completion.

Looking ahead, a mobile version for iOS and Android with crossplay support is expected in April, and a console update is planned for early summer to unify the game versions across platforms.
