We’re back at that time of the year, everyone. The time when the year is almost at its end, and you look back at the year, thinking about what new adventures and games the future holds.
Looking back, despite all the delays, 2022 has been fantastic to us. We finally got our hands on Elden Ring, had the chance to experience PlayStation games like Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered on PC for the first time, and fell in love with indie darlings like Sifu. However, as the credits roll on 2022, it’s time to look ahead and welcome new games into our lives. The next year already looks like it’s going to be great. From sequels to remakes and brand-new adventures to be had, 2023 sure has it all.
We know that the game industry is ever-changing, and some of these titles’ release dates may change in the future. But as of now, these are the 5 PC games that we can’t wait to play in 2023.
Hogwarts Legacy
Release Date: February 10, 2023
Grab your wands, everyone! The train to Hogwarts is about to leave.
Potterhead or not, we think it’s safe to say that almost everyone is waiting for Hogwarts Legacy to finally come out. After waiting years, players will finally be able to live their dream of learning wizardry and witchcraft at Hogwarts. Of course, attending classes won’t be the only thing you’ll be able to do. Players will be able to explore Hogwarts, Hogsmeade, and also new places in this open-world action RPG.
You’ll control a fifth-year student who holds the key to an ancient secret that threatens to tear the wizarding world apart. The fate of the wizarding world will be in your hands on February 10, 2023. Do you promise to be good or solemnly swear that you’re up to no good?
Resident Evil 4 Remake
Release Date: March 24, 2023
Mark the date above on your calendars. On the 24th of March, we’ll relive the nightmare that revolutionized the survival-horror and third-person genres.
Resident Evil 4 is believed to be one of the best games of all time and even though that’s a high standard to reach for the remake, the recent trailers show that we’re certainly in for a treat. While staying true to the essence of the original horror game, the remake will introduce modernized gameplay, a reimagined storyline, and vividly detailed graphics for the fans and also the new generations.
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League
Release Date: May 26, 2023
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is another one of those games that got delayed to 2023. By the time we get to try this next game in the Batman: Arkham series, it will have been eight years since the last game, Batman: Arkham Knight. Excited? Quite so.
This action game will focus on four playable characters: Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, and King Shark who are given a task by Amanda Waller. The targets? Well, they are none other than our beloved superheroes, Superman, The Flash, Green Lantern, and Batman who are brainwashed by Brainiac. So, basically, we’re expected to kill our darlings. Insert smiling face with tear emoji here.
Set in an open-world Metropolis, you can either explore the city on your own and switch between the four characters. Or, you can play with four other players in cooperative multiplayer mode.
Street Fighter 6

One of the most popular fighting games returns with its next installment. If you’re ready to prove your might, let’s begin!
With the new combat system, characters, and game modes, Street Fighter 6 will certainly begin a new era for fighting games. While popular characters will return for another round, the latest installment will also include newcomers that will help bring the game to the next level. Other than new characters, it will also feature 2 new game modes besides the traditional Fighting Ground. With the additions of World Tour and Battle Hub, it certainly looks like Street Fighter 6 has something for everyone.
Assassin's Creed Mirage
Release Date: TBC 2023
Assassin’s Creed is another series that gets a new entry in 2023, isn’t that just the perfect news? The next installment in the popular action-adventure series will focus on Basim Ibn Ishaq, a character that we’ve seen in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla before.
Unlike the past few games in the series, Assassin’s Creed Mirage will focus more on stealth and will take us back to the series’ roots. This means that the game will be more story-based, linear, and focus more on close-quartered combat. Mirage is certainly perfect for those who fell in love with the first games of this series.
